Our services

Almost everything typically done at routine consult in a traditional practice can be done in your home. We have a specially equipped Veterinary Ambulance and we carry a wide array of equipment and supplies to ensure that full services can be provided.

These include:

Vaccinations of dogs and cats: initial course for youngsters, boosters and 'catch-up' courses for adults.
  New Pet consultations.
  Well Pet health checks for seniors.
  Sick Pet medical consults.
  Health progress checks and repeat prescriptions for diabetic, thyroid, kidney and epileptic patients to name just a few.
  Diagnostic testing including bloods, urinalysis, aspirates.
  Nail clipping and anal gland expressing.
  Microchip identification.
  Dispensary and home delivery of parasitic treatments and prescription diets.
  Palliative hospice care for elderly patients.
  Veterinary ambulance transport.
  24 hour emergency service for registered clients.

 


Private, compassionate at home euthanasia.

Perhaps the most difficult part of being a pet owner is saying goodbye. Being able to do this in the comfort and privacy of your own home is generally easier on pet and owner alike. Euthanasia is a painless and peaceful way to go when the time is right and we will guide you through this process.

Some owners find solace in burying their pet in a place special to them both. If preferred, we can offer a dignified cremation after which your pet’s ashes can be returned to you if wished. Please feel free to discuss the options with us.

Remember - we appreciate from personal experience how hard this part of pet ownership can be.
